What’s your New Year
Resolution???
This
is the question asked by many people during first few days of New Year. I was
also asked by many.
Many
people make decisions to fulfill in every New Year which are pending from long.
Though there is nothing significance in new year i.e. it may not make
difference with a daily life. A change in date remembers you that you have lost
one year of your life. It tells you that you are nearer to death by one year.
So it makes you feel that you are getting aged, you need to add one more candle
in coming birthday!
Some
people review what happened in the last year w.r.t career, life, goals, etc.,
Some decide to change job, some decide to make the relationship stronger with
their loved ones.
Some
people who do not bother about lify things just find this New Year as one more opportunity
to spend time with friends to booze and chill.. (Like most of the people...J)
I
too asked the same question to couple of my friends; one said he’s searching
girl to marry from long time and he wants to marry soon..
One
curious answer got from one of my friend when we are out in coffee break; he
told “want to get a girl friend!!” lighting up his cigarette.
I
just laughed and said “come on man; don’t be silly by taking these kinds of
things as resolutions”.
He
replied “it might looks silly, but it’s something important to me..” puffing
out smoke.
“I
want to experience that joy of having someone special in life, life is not just
about money, career. It’s also about finding your loved ones…”
“Why
now, why didn’t you get one before?”
He
said “I was too busy to have girl friend before, was busy in studies, after
finishing studies got busy in work, my business and other stuffs. Anyways age
doesn’t matter to have a girl friend, don’t you think so?”
“Yes
right, an octogenarian can marry his 24 year old girl friend, 44 year old actor
can have gal of 28year old, and you are too young” I said agreeing to his assertion.
He
replied with his question asking me “so what’s your new year resolution?”
“I
don’t want to reveal it”.
“Why
not?”
“Because
your aims, ambition are best achieved when you don’t reveal them”
He
just gave his everlasting smile and said “OK! But I can guess”.
He
guessed it and was right (he knows well about me).
So
